Your first milestones as a DJ/producer? How did you start?
Before I moved to Berlin in 2016, I had already been DJing in Sweden for a while and learned what real techno means in clubs like Trouw in Amsterdam. In Berlin, I wanted to give my music a real chance. In 2019, I started releasing my productions on various labels and playing in clubs regularly. This was followed by my first signing with a booking agency and a performance at HÖR Berlin. I had the pleasure of playing in some iconic venues, such as Kraftwerk for the Tresor anniversary, KHIDI in Georgia and even in Cuba.
Your biggest influences and inspirations?
In terms of production, definitely Ancient Methods. I also find a lot of inspiration in genres like 60s and 70s rock, ambient, classical and opera music. Another thing that has had a big influence on me is the positive feedback on Soundcloud over the years. That gave me a lot of self-confidence and was essential for my development.
Your sound in a nutshell? What makes it unique?
Very danceable, energetic, effective techno with a seductive touch. I love storytelling in my DJ sets and am very selective with the track selection. I always try to create a synchronicity that you can feel and that takes you on an unexpected journey.
A brief review of the year so far?
In January I was signed to Ellen Allien’s agency BPitch and we are planning some tours for me later this year. I’m very excited!
Your most beautiful moment?
In November 2022 my parents came to see me play at Berghain. This will forever be a very special memory for me.
And your most unpleasant/unusual experience?
Luckily, I haven’t experienced any so far (knock on wood).
One of your life goals?
Always enjoy the journey.
